George Kerr was born about 1802 in Ireland.

He married Eleanor LaRue about 1834. Eleanor was born about 1815 in Leeds County, Ontario. She was the daughter of William Larue and Abigail Hagerman.

On July 14, 1834 a mortgage taken on the lot 32 land by grantor Sarah LaRue to George Kerr, grantee.

On August 13, 1839 a grant was made by George Kerr and Eleanor Kerr a daughter of late William LaRue to George Longley.
